Laughing Llama Farm Experience
1.5 hours of hands on farm experience - up to a group of 4 people.
**Choose a date on the calendar and add other packages if you wish. Farm Experiences will not be available 12/13 - 12/31/25. Due to weather patterns in January and February, Farm Experience availability is scheduled and added to the calendar closer to those dates. If you are planning a visit to The Silo House during January or February 2026, please let us know when you book your Silo House reservation and we will try to accomodate a Farm Experience during your stay.
**You do not have to be a guest staying at The Silo House to schedule a Farm Experience, but booking an appointment is necessary.

Join us and our llamas on our farm and a one on one experience with the other animals. You'll learn the history of the camelid family, llama domestication, and how llamas are used today. We'll also have the opportunity to tour the farm facility, meet the rest of the herd, and learn more about life at Laughing Llama Farm. Depending on the season, this may include lambing and gardening.
Please wear closed toe shoes and expect to be in the barn area during your visit.
We reserve the right to cancel an experience in the event of bad weather.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is not recommended for children in strollers.
So sorry, but for the safety of all, no pets are allowed.
Guests will come to the Laughing Llama Farm and there will be a 10-15 minute introduction to the llamas and their surroundings. We will go over llama training and handling to ensure the guest is comfortable taking the lead!
Other things, depending on weather and season: collecting eggs, feeding the chickens, sheep, llamas, goats and no telling what else. Every day on the farm there is something new! ***When choosing your time slot on the calendar, “1 spot left” means this is 1 spot left for a group up to 4 people total.***
